Happy With My Kindle Reader
I am very happy with my Amazon kindle reader which I received about a month ago. The acid test for me is that, although it is a cool and trendy gadget, when I’m reading a book on it, I am completely unaware of it. Obviously, it does need to be a good book – but I don’t feel any different when I’m reading on my Kindle compared to when I’m reading a conventional hardback or paperback book. I did try a Sony PRS in my local bookstore. Initially I didn’t like the transition but, whether it’s a matter of accustomisation or not, it doesn’t bother me now when I’m reading on the Kindle. It’s just like turning a page. Blink if you like – most people do that when turning the page of a “real” book anyway.
