I wish I could remember these things word for word, but one part of our Mormon history I like are sayings from Brigham Young. One I found rather profound was that holding a grudge is like drinking poison and hoping it will kill the other person. It’s so true. They might have no idea how you feel about them and here you are seething with anger affecting your health. He also said said regarding women following their husbands that no woman would be expected to follow her husband to Hell. People forget that the command is to follow as he follows the Lord.
