That’s What Makes it So Much Fun
I don’t understand why some parents don’t allow their children to celebrate Halloween. In my mind, childhood is all about pretending, and that’s what they get to do on this holiday. For one day out of the year, they can be whoever and whatever they want to be. Add to that the possibility of getting all the candy they could every want, and who wouldn’t be excited about it? Even I like the holiday. It makes me feel like a kid again. Among my friends and I, the Halloween Countdown always includes parties. Some of them are intended for adults, and others involve children. One feature that is common become between all of them, however, is dressing up in costumes. And, to me, that’s what makes it so much fun!
