Efficient Greenhouse Cooling and Humidity Control

The two major concerns of any greenhouse are temperature and humidity control in an efficient manner. Most greenhouse foggers operate at high pressure which is counter productive at best. The droplet size is normally 20 microns with a high pressure system. A low pressure system produces droplets about 4.2 microns in size. The smaller droplets evaporate and are in the atmosphere more than on the plant. Wet plants promote bacterial and fungal growth which can kill a plant. A low pressure system uses a fogging orifice that is .1″ in diameter compared to .006″ preventing clogging and maintenance issues when applying bactericides, fungicides and fertilizers.
