Living the Dream: Learning the Guitar

I know a lot of people whose dreams revolve around being able to play the guitar beautifully.  I don’t exactly consider myself a die-hard wannabe musician, but learning to play the instrument, I admit, has to be one of my unfulfilled passions in life.  Nowadays, it doesn’t have to stay a dream.  Many online guitar courses are available for the beginner who’s only starting to discover his/her passion for the instrument.  One of these courses, the learn and master guitar program is one of the best reviewed, and according to those who have used it, is also one of the easiest and most comprehensive guitar learning guides available.  So for those who want to live the dream, this just might be where it all starts.

Old Time Radio Comedy – Father Knows Best

Who doesn’t like a good laugh now and then? Have you ever tried listening to old time radio? If you enjoy good comedy shows, then you’re in luck. There are many very funny shows in Old Time Radio. One of my very favorites is “Father Knows Best”. The role of father is actually played by Robert Young, who played in the TV show by the same name. At times, I find myself laughing out loud at the antics of the Anderson family. All of the funny situations they get themselves are so clever and humorous. If you enjoyed the TV show, I think you’ll really enjoy the radio version. The series began in 1949, on NBC Radio and was sponsored by General Foods. The show was heard on Thursday nights and ran until 1954.

Reviews for Card Blanks

I have been working on starting my own little business making hand made cards. I have been going to craft shows and things like that to get my business off the ground. So far, so good! I think that I would like to start expanding a bit and making more cards. So, I am looking for reviews on Card Blanks before I buy some. I was thinking about buying them in bulk online but I want to make sure that whatever I buy is really good quality. I figure the best way to know for sure is to read some reviews of what others are saying.

Can’t Resist

I just finished doing the nyc wedding photographers circuit for our upcoming wedding. I had initially contact one photographer, Angela Cappetta, and asked her for an estimate. I couldn’t afford her, so I moved on. But everyone I interviewed just didn’t stack up to her! Her responsiveness, her talent and her personality kept drawing me back in. I finally decided I had to have her. I wrote to her, all fingers and toes crossed, to make sure she was still available. She was! I told her that I just couldn’t go with anyone else after having seen her work, and although I never actually interviewed her in person I knew she was meant to be my wedding photographer. It was the smartest decision I could have made! We love our pictures and the new friendship we have with Angela.

Why 80′s Songs are Popular

The popularity of 80’s songs is largely attributed to the new developments introduced to the music industry during this era. One of these developments is the introduction of the MTV to the public. By combining video with the music of the artists, fans can much easier connect with the message of the song and can easily see their favorite artists performing it. Second, synthesizers were largely used to keep the quality of 80′s songs at a high level, with sound filters and additional sound effects. Lastly, a lot of new genres popped up during the decade, including metal, alternative, pop music, and indie rock, along with the increase in popularity of hip-hop.

I am always Learning and Playing the Guitar

If I am not playing my guitar, I am studying about how to make my music better. I live for our venues that we play, and the lessons that I have learned along the way. All of the shows inspire me to keeping moving forward, in order to get better. I want to be the artist that is mastering electric guitar licks. It can be difficult to do that, but the only way to do it with practice. I practice more than people give me credit for. They just think I was born with this gift and that I can do anything with little effort. They are more than wrong.
