How To Clean Your Door Handles
How To Clean Your Door Handles
A lacquered product will stop you from contacting the brass. Lacquered brass still changes color often from ageing under the lacquer. If this is the case you are going to have to take away the lacquer first before cleaning the handle which we’re not actually going to get into today. So now that we know what we are working with lets push on. This technique will work for both solid and plated brass products. First you’re going to need to employ a damp fabric and wipe off any mud or first dirt that’s lingering on the surface of your handle. After it is clean you will have to head to the kitchen and find flour, vinegar, and salt. Mix equal parts of the 3 together to make a paste. Now before you apply this paste, wet the door handles down again with water.
