My Husband Wants Some trench art For His Birthday
My husband Marion has always been fascinated by history, especially the history of the first world war. Since some of his family members fought in the war, he has always been very much full of pride at their sacrifice for their country. Today he has started to develop an interest in trench art, which is mainly focused on the art that the soldiers created themselves. What he finds especially intriguing about this is that the soldiers were just ordinary people who were put into extraordinary situations, and they created pieces of art from whatever materials were at hand. He wants to get some new pieces for his upcoming birthday.
